Terms of Sale

Because goats are herd animals and will not thrive alone, individual goats will not be sold unless the buyer already has goats.  Bucklings are banded at approximately 8 weeks old.  If you want an intact buck, you must call to reserve and place payment prior to banding.

We reserve the right to refuse any sale at our discretion.  We reserve the right to retain any goat that has been listed for sale due to unforeseen circumstances.  No deposit is required for unborn kids that you would like to reserve, however, once born a kid selected for purchase requires a deposit of half the selling price.  If we elect to retain a goat or if the goat purchased is no longer available, the deposit will be transferred to the sale of an alternate goat or refunded.  The deposit will not be refunded if the buyer simply “changes their mind”.

All goats leaving our homestead will be dis-budded and the first round of immunizations will be administered.  We make every effort to ensure that any goat leaving our homestead is healthy, but we cannot be responsible for the goats health once it leaves our farm.  Pricing is set at the time an animal is listed for sale.  Price variations are dependent on such characteristics as color, moonspots, eye-color, polled, milking genetics, etc.

Purchased goats must be picked up at weaning time.  Purchased goats not picked up will be charged $1.50 per day boarding fees.  In the event a purchased goat is not picked up on the scheduled date and new arrangements are not made, the animal will be re-listed for sale and any deposit will be forfeited.  Full purchase price must be paid prior to the goat leaving the homestead.  Payment must be made by cash, Lenmo. local check, or money order.  Registration paperwork through the American Dairy Goat Association will be available for all goats sold if desired unless sold without papers (at buyers request).

We accept major credit cards and debit cards for your convenience. For your security, we do not save or store card numbers. Sales can be completed at the point of sale (on site) or completed over the phone. Receipts can be printed at the time of purchase, sent to you via email at the time of the transaction, or provided via text message.

We also accept renumeration via Venmo if that is your preferred method of payment.
